About Beth
Elizabeth Callahan is a real estate professional with experience spanning home staging, interior decorating, residential renovation, real estate investment, and brokerage. With a Fine Arts background and hands-on construction skills, she is known for helping clients present homes at their best and navigate the selling process with clarity and care.
Experience Supporting Older Adults
From age 14 through 21, Elizabeth worked as a nurse’s aide in nursing homes and hospitals while funding private school and college tuition. She also provided daily meal preparation and evening care for an elderly neighbor for three years.
Elizabeth has consulted with multiple Massachusetts Independent Living Communities (ILC’s) on how real estate market conditions affect older adults considering a move or home sale. Known as Massachusetts’ first professional Home Stager, she brings practical expertise in downsizing and home preparation, along with a clear understanding of what today’s buyers expect. This work has led to invitations to serve on boards and provide recommendations and strategic guidance.
Real Estate, Renovation, and Home Presentation
In her mid twenties, Elizabeth purchased her first home and developed practical renovation skills—repairing, building, and improving properties when hiring contractors was not feasible. Combining a builder’s mindset with an artist’s eye, she went on to purchase, redesign, renovate, stage, and sell seven homes between 2003 and late 2008, with most selling within days to two weeks.
After 12 years of preparing homes for sale for clients and other agents, Elizabeth became a Realtor to guide clients through the entire process—from pricing strategy to closing. She focuses on reducing stress, keeping timelines on track, and helping sellers achieve a strong outcome. Her attention to detail across every phase of the transaction supports clear communication and reliable, on-time closings.
Elizabeth has completed many ongoing educational and professional courses including the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) course and is committed to serving older adults and their families with patience and compassion, whether they are downsizing, selling, or choosing to remain in place. She is recognized for a thorough, hands-on approach to preparing homes for market—staging, coordinating photography, and guiding clients through each step. Recent listings have included properties that went under contract within 18 hours.
Elizabeth believes the most meaningful part of her work is the trust she builds with clients. While closing day marks a successful outcome, it can also be bittersweet as her day-to-day work with clients comes to an end.
